Effects and Efficacy of Ibersan

The active ingredient, Ivermectin, is effective in eliminating parasites and is prescribed for the treatment of conditions such as strongyloidiasis (intestinal threadworm infection) and scabies. Additionally, clinical trials are currently underway to evaluate the antiviral efficacy and safety of Ivermectin against COVID-19.

How to Take Ibersan

• Take orally with water on an empty stomach.
• The recommended dose is approximately 200μg of Ivermectin per kilogram of body weight, administered twice at two-week intervals.

Dosage Based on Body Weight:

• 15−24kg: 3mg
• 25−35kg: 6mg
• 36−50kg: 9mg
• 51−65kg: 12mg
• 66−79kg: 15mg
• 80kg and above: approximately 200μg/kg

Since each Ibersan tablet contains 12mg of Ivermectin, adjust the dosage according to body weight.

Side Effects of Ibersan

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, itching, and diarrhea. Serious side effects are rare but may include toxic epidermal necrolysis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, liver dysfunction, jaundice, and impaired consciousness.

• Always follow your doctor’s instructions when taking this medication.
• Safety for pregnant women, elderly patients, and children has not been established.
• Breastfeeding should be discontinued while taking this medication.
